When you use the Sonalyze.com website (hereinafter the "Site") and/or the Sonalyze application (hereinafter the "Application"), Sonalyze collects and processes personal data concerning you in order to provide you with the best possible services.

We collect and protect our customers' personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter the "GDPR") applicable in France since 25 May 2018.

Sonalyze acts as data controller. Sonalyze is a simplified joint-stock company, registered with the Bobigny RCS under number X 942 684 572, with its registered office at 14 bis rue Montgolfier, 93500 Pantin, France (hereinafter "we" or "Sonalyze").

The purpose of this policy is to inform you of the reasons why we collect and process your personal data, and how we protect it.

1. What personal data do we process?

We collect and use only the personal data necessary for our business operations and the purposes listed in point 2 of this policy.

We collect and process the following personal data:

  • Identification and contact data: your last name, first name, email address, postal address, telephone number, your mobile identifier (AAID or IDFA), your Google identifiers (such as your email when logging in), your voice during recordings;
  • Data relating to your home or real estate property: category of housing (current, future, secondary), type of housing (house, apartment), status (tenant, owner, free occupant), presence of a garden, terrace or balcony, floor plan (if applicable), sale, purchase or rental project, type of sounds heard in the home;
  • Connection data: including your IP address, logs, encrypted passwords;
  • Data relating to your payment methods.

Data necessary to provide our services is marked with an asterisk (*) on the Site and Application. If you do not wish Sonalyze to process this data, you will not be able to use our services.

Once deleted from our active database, your data may be archived for evidentiary purposes for a period of 5 years.

3. Who are the recipients of your data?

The following will have access to your personal data:

4. Is your data likely to be transferred outside the European Union?

Your data is retained and stored throughout the processing period on the servers of OVH and Scaleway, both located in France.

In the context of the tools we use, your data will not be subject to transfer outside the European Union.

5. What are your rights over your data?

You have rights over your personal data.

The right of access: This right allows you to request a copy of all the information Sonalyze holds about you. It applies regardless of the legal basis of the processing.

The right of rectification: This right allows you to request the modification, updating or completion of your personal data. It applies regardless of the legal basis of the processing.

The right to withdraw your consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time. This right applies only to processing based on your consent.

The right to object: This is your ability to refuse data processing. It applies to processing based on Sonalyze's legitimate interest.

The right to erasure (right to be forgotten): You may request the deletion of all data Sonalyze holds about you (subject to elements necessary to comply with legal obligations). This right applies to processing based on your consent or Sonalyze's legitimate interest.

The right to restrict processing: You may request restriction of the processing of your personal data.

The right to data portability: This right allows you to request the data concerning you, where it is processed based on your consent or a contractual relationship. What is the difference from the right of access? We are obliged to transmit the data in a technically usable format.

The right regarding post-mortem directives: You have the right to define directives relating to the retention, deletion or communication of your personal data applicable after your death.

6. How to exercise these rights?

We may ask you on this occasion to provide us with additional information or documents to verify your identity.

We have a maximum response time of one month from the date of receipt of the request.

If the request is incomplete (absence of identity document for example), we are entitled to request additional elements: the deadline is then suspended and runs again once these elements have been provided.

Access to these rights is free of charge. In some cases, reasonable fees related to the processing of your file may be requested, for example in the case of a request for an additional copy, or in the case of a particularly complex request.

In accordance with applicable regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés) if your rights exercise is not satisfactorily resolved in France.

7. Amendments

We may modify this policy at any time, in particular to comply with any regulatory, jurisprudential, editorial or technical developments. These modifications will apply from the effective date of the modified version. You are therefore invited to regularly consult the latest version of this policy. However, we will inform you of any significant modification to this privacy policy.
